Steve Carson-Sulzer is serving his first term as ITSA’s Secretary and as a member of the Board of Directors. .

Steve Carson-Sulzer joined Avalon Risk Management (ARM) after graduating from DePaul University in 2014, starting out as a temp-to-hire in the Bond Claims department.  He became a full-time employee in 2015 and specialized in US Customs claims for many years.  Steve became Supervisor of Surety Claims Operations in 2017 before managing the Bond Claims department in 2019.  He is now AVP of Claims and Subrogation for ARM.  He began participating in ITSA in 2021 and became Secretary in 2024.
